Intervention

Dysphagia Intervention Plan

As a part of my Evaluation and Treatment of Swallowing Disorders course, I designed an intervention plan for an adult client with dysphagia. The treatment plan included safe swallow strategies and a home exercise program based on the results of a full evaluation. I conducted a treatment session to educate the patient on the recommended swallow strategies, exercises, and precautions. I provided a written handout of diet and exercise recommendations and completed a SOAP note based on the session. 

Adult Voice Intervention Plan

As a part of my Voice Disorders course, I designed an intervention plan for a hypothetical adult client with vocal fold nodules. I conducted a treatment session to counsel the client on vocal hygiene and voice therapy techniques to improve vocal quality and reduce the size of the nodules. I provided a written voice therapy homework sheet and completed a SOAP note based on the session. 



As a part of my Pediatric Speech Sound Disorders course, I designed an intervention plan for a child with an articulation disorder. The intervention plan lists the child's goals and details treatment methods that will be used during therapy  sessions.
